We kept taking things out until only the good part was left.

SMPL BEAN started with one tee and one problem: everything else had too much going on. So we stripped it back to the parts that matter — dense cotton, a boxy cut that holds its shape after fifty washes, and a print that fades the way a good record wears.

Everything is made in runs of a few hundred, in browns and creams pulled straight from the raw cotton. Nothing is restocked. That's the whole idea.
